Redstone Is An Ore Which Acts As Electricity For Minecraft.  It Was Added In Beta 1.8 And Is Found In Redstone Ore.  It Can Extend For 13 Blocks And Can Power Some Things.It Was One Of The Redstone Which Was Not Added On The Redstone Update
